About Us

Maria & Jerry Como

Maria and Jerry Como, that's us! We have been married for over 35 years, and we have three daughters. Our choice to dedicate ourselves to caring for others is deeply rooted through our own family experiences. Maria was raised by her two wonderful grandmothers. Jerry's next-door neighbors until he was 18 were his Grammie and Grandpa. Those early childhood bonds have given us the direction in our lives to give back to those that gave so much to us. Each of our residents becomes an addition to our lives and our extended family. Over the past 25 years, our lives have been enriched by so many wonderful grandmas and grandpas.

Maria Como

Maria has over 35 years of experience as a nurse and is still active in the medical field. Maria's continuing education in the nursing field is focused on enhancing and building on her knowledge to care for the elderly. This acquired knowledge continues to build and improve the education that is required as an administrator for a residential care facility for the elderly.

Jerry Como

Jerry has been a retired Marine for the past 18 years. During his time on active duty, Jerry attended night classes and received a Bachelor's Degree in Business. Once released from active duty, he took the course to become an administrator for a residential care facility for the elderly. Jerry has participated as a member on the advisory council department of social service community care licensing for the elderly.
